In the men’s race, the Panthers were led by Myles Jermyn, who finished in sixth place, and Lucas Van Mater, who was just two spots behind in eighth. Orange senior Cyrus Neal finished in 12th place. North Lincoln finished as runner-up, thanks to Juan Carlos Tinajero Jr.’s 10th place finish, Eli Rush’s 20th place finish, and Daniel Brown’s 22nd place finish. Western Harnett junior Ethan Rich took home the individual honors with a time of 15:26.18. Keagan Saft from West Henderson finished in second place, and Noah Guerrero from Croatan took third. Eric Gillis and Jorge Clemente-Garcia – both from Jesse Carson – finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
