In the women’s race, NCSSM–Durham won its fourth consecutive state championship as they swept the top three spots on the podium. Senior Catherine Parker won the individual title with a time of 18:42.38 and juniors Moira Furr and Helen Chen came in second and third, respectively. The Unicorns scored 75 points to finish 15 points clear of Seaforth in second place. Seaforth and Pine Lake Prep, which took third place, each had a pair of runners take home a top-10 finish. Seaforth’s Juana Jimenez and Emily Jump finished in sixth and seventh, and Pine Lake Prep’s Lyla Henneger and Maya Little took fourth and fifth.
