In the 3A Men’s meet, the Panthers won their second championship in a row and third in the last four years. They were led by Le’Ezra Brown, who was also named the Most Outstanding Performer for the second year in a row. He won the 100-Meter Hurdles with a time of 10.42 and the 110-Meter Hurdles, breaking his own meet record in the process. He was also part of the first-place winning 4×100 Relay team. Statesville finished in second place on the team leaderboard. Their relay team of Talyn Stevenson, Nicholas Porter, Chaven Rucker, and Jehahj Sherrill won the 4×200 Relay, and Rucker and Porter teamed up with Malik Pineda and Noah Owens to win the 4×400. Broughton’s Ashley Bermundez won both the Unified 100 and 200-Meter Dashes. Terry Sanford’s Emmanuel Spruiell, Amari Best, Lorenzo McDaniel, and Cazamir Cooper won the Unified Mixed 4×100-Meter Relay.
