In the 1A Women’s meet, the Maroon Devils won their fifth consecutive team championship and sixth overall. They were led by Arizona Blankenship, as she won the 1600 and 3200-Meter Races. It is the third straight year that she has won both events. Annie Lewis also won the 800, was second in the 1600, and third in the 3200. Corvian Community finished in second place, powered by a podium sweep in the 100-Meter Hurdles. Jayda Lewis took first, Mariana Aske finished second, and Misa Samuel finished in third. Lewis also finished second in the 300-Meter Hurdles. Wilson Prep’s Rachel Key won the high jump and the Long Jump and took fifth in the 100-Meter Hurdles. She was named the Most Outstanding Performer for her efforts.
